INDIANAPOLIS – Herff Jones, an achievement division of Varsity Brands and the leading provider of graduation and educational products and services, has been named the exclusive provider of championship rings for the NAIA Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC).

The conference-wide agreement serves all sports for the SAC’s 11 full-member institutions and per-sport for the 10 associate members in five states throughout the South Central United States. Each championship team will have the opportunity to work alongside best-in-class, skilled artisans to bring a custom design to life.

“The decision to partner with Herff Jones as its official championship ring provider is indicative of the Sooner Athletic Conference‘s commitment to embrace the student-athlete experience,” said SAC Commissioner Stan Wagnon. “As we look to leverage recognition in ways that inspire achievement, we are confident that Herff Jones has not only a great product but also a well-rounded marketing and promotional plan that will help SAC member schools to fully celebrate their championships.”

The SAC annually awards team championships in 14 sports — baseball, football, softball, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, golf, soccer and wrestling.

“Herff Jones is extremely honored to be selected as the official championship partner for the SAC,” said Herff Jones College and Commercial General Manager Brian Fleming. “Their mission to instill character values in student athletes is one that directly aligns with ours, and it is a responsibility we own every day.
