HERFF JONES ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP TRANSITION
LONGTIME INDUSTRY LEADERS JOHN BIBEAULT AND CHUCK MOOTY NAMED NEW CEO AND CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
Indianapolis, IN – August 21, 2026 – Herff Jones, the nation’s leading provider of handcrafted graduation and educational achievement products, announced today that longtime industry leaders John Bibeault and Chuck Mooty have joined the organization as its new Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.
Herff Jones was established as an independent company following its separation from Varsity Brands in 2023. It recently reaffirmed its longstanding commitment to the City of Indianapolis, where it was founded over a century ago, via expanding its manufacturing footprint and millions in new private investment.
Bibeault brings to the CEO role at Herff Jones nearly four decades of experience in the commemorative products industry, serving most recently for 22 years with Jostens. His experience includes leading roles in sales, operations and manufacturing. Most recently, Bibeault served as Senior Vice-President of National Sales and Business Development at Jostens, where he drove revenue growth of $60 million while managing 580 Independent Sales Partners responsible for more than $900 million in annual sales. Earlier in his career, he led the operational and manufacturing functions for the company’s Scholastic and College divisions.
Mooty also joins Herff Jones following a remarkable career leading Jostens. Over a period of seven years as CEO and then Chairman, Mooty’s tenure highlighted the importance of building trusting relationships with all constituents. Through numerous product innovations and leveraging consumer-facing technologies, the company and its independent sales partners enjoyed multiple years of growth.
