Herff Jones and San José State University Announce New Agreement for Custom Graduation Regalia
SJSU graduates to don Royal Blue Renew™ gowns, combining sustainability
with Spartan pride
SAN JOSE, CA – [Oct. 14, 2025] – Herff Jones, the nation’s leading provider of handcrafted graduation and educational achievement products, is proud to announce a new agreement with San José State University to supply its graduates with custom Royal Blue Herff Jones Renew™ regalia.
Previously outfitted in plain black Herff Jones Renew™ gowns, SJSU graduates will now celebrate their academic achievements in bold Royal Blue, a color that reflects Spartan pride while maintaining the university’s commitment to sustainability. Renew™ gowns are crafted from 100% post-consumer recycled materials, making them an environmentally responsible choice that honors tradition and achievement.
