Basketball team receives one-of-a-kind ring during special on-field halftime ceremony

INDIANAPOLIS (September 28, 2019) – Herff Jones, an achievement division of Varsity Brands and the premier provider of championship rings for all level of athletics, is proud to unveil Auburn University’s NCAA 2019 Final Four ring. Herff Jones and Auburn University representatives presented the rings to coaches, players and staff during a special on-field halftime celebration during the Auburn vs. Mississippi State football game on Sept. 28.

The ring celebrates the Auburn basketball team’s SEC Championship win, first trip to the NCAA Final Four and overall 30-10 season record.

The top of the ring features the Auburn University logo, in a custom four-piece stone set. The left side highlights the SEC logo, the final score of the championship game and the team’s 30-10 season record. On the right side, each ring is personalized with the player’s name and position, alongside the NCAA Final Four logo. The scores of the 2019 tournament games are featured on the inside of the band. The iconic university battle cry, “War Eagle,” is displayed on the band facing the inside palm. The ring features 32 princess-cut stones and 205 stones in total.
