• What is The RECORD and what does it contain?
The RECORD is a printed and bound pictorial directory featuring individual photos of your in
coming classmates. It also contains information that helps ease the transition from home to
the collegiate environment.
• Do most new students participate in this publication?
The RECORD is a popular tradition. Our goal is 100% participation.
• What personal information is included?
Your name, hometown, high school, two activities or interests, and probable area of study are included. To protect personal privacy, we do not include permanent or campus addresses, phone numbers, or e-mail addresses.
• Is there any difference between the student and parent copies?
None. If the student copy is distributed on campus, the additional cost of the parent copy
covers shipping and handling.
• What size photo should I submit?
All photo sizes are accepted since the printer scans and sizes them individually. Most students
submit a wallet or similar size photo. Any head and shoulders shot works well
whether it’s taken by a professional or not. Your photo needs to be in a jpg or tif format.
• Should the photo be black and white or color?
Both color photos and black & white photos are acceptable.
• Should my photo be a formal portrait or can it be a snapshot?
Any head-and-shoulders shot works well whether it's taken by a professional or not.
• Are photos returned?
No, our printer cannot return individual photos so please DO NOT include a self-addressed
stamped envelope. While the printer returns all student-submitted photos to the school,
there is no guarantee your photo will be in its original condition.
• What if I don't have a photo?
Go ahead and complete the Questionnaire. We will print your biographical information without
a photo, as it is important to have you included. Please remember, however, that The Record is a pictorial directory.
• How do I submit my photo, completed Questionnaire, and order with payment?
You may submit everything 1 of 2 ways:
